Quantum Photonics (2023). This talk focused on how AI can shape human perceptsion of one another. I discussed research topics around AI, robotics, and fairness.
- CPSC-484/584 Intro. to Human-Computer Interaction (2023). Gave two lectures on Fairness in Artificial Intelligence and the design of everyday things. These lectures were for Yale undergraduate and graduate students.
- Yale Young Global Scholars (2023). This talk focused on how machines can behave fairly and what the consequences are when they make unfair decisions. This talk was for a high school audience.
- MIT Teaching Systems Lab (TSL) (2022). This talk focused on how machines can behave fairly and how we can build platforms to study the consequences of unfair AI decisions on group dynamics. This talk was givent to the MIT TSL Group.
- Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) - Future Faculty Program (2021). I was invited to presented my research in a seminar and interviewed with various faculty and deans from the schools of mechanical engineering and computing and information sciences.
- Toyota Research Institute (TRI) (2021). This talk focused on how we can design robotic algorithms to ensure that they behave fairly when working in teams. This was a talk was attended by members from the different robotic teams at TRI.
- ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction (2020). This talk focuses on a novel reinforcement learning algorithm that enables robots to follow human notions of fairness when allocating resources. I presented my work at the Human-Robot Interaction Conference (HRI).
